Post Pharmintech 2016, Marchesini Takes Blisterevolution to CIPM at Chongqing

The 51st (2016 Spring) National Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition & China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition, commenced on April 20, 2016 and shall continue up to April 23, 2016. Over 800 exhibitors have gathered from around the world at the sprawling Yuelai Avenue in Changqing, China. At booth number C50, the Marchesini Group, one among the leading pack in Pharmaceutical packaging industry, showcases its MA 352 from its secondary packaging machine portfolio.

The continuous motion horizontal cartoner gains highlight due to its complete balcony structure. The construction allows optimized carton positioning, minimal maintenance, and extremely quick change over time. Equipped with multiple feeding lanes for high-speed operation, it has two Robocombi feeders, three axes robots with pick-up heads, all managed over a single control PC.

It was just last week on April 15,2016, when Pharmintech 2016 concluded on a praiseworthy note for the group. During the event in Bologna, Maurizio Marchesini, CEO of the Marchesini Group, considered the event to be successful. Speaking at occasion in a region where almost 70% of Italian Pharmaceutical machinery is produced, he remarked, "Something has changed compared with three years ago. Some things that have not changed are the tailor-like quality of our work and our typical Italian hospitality, whether it be a trade show just down the road from our Headquarters or on the other side of the world".

The company representatives talked explicitly at Pharmintech over the Blisterevolution concept which was launched the previous year. Key illustrations depicted how it led to the introduction of Integra 520 to its blister line. Others among the exhibit were Integra 220, the model from which 520 V was developed and a syringe line combined of the thermoformer FBZ 320 and the cartoning machine BA 400 Argento, capable of processing up to 300 cartons per minute.

The Marchesini Group announced that its 9,000 square meter complex at Carpi, which will be used exclusively for blister packaging, to become fully operational by late October. The exhibition season shall continue for the Marchesini group, with Korea Pack 2016 and Interphex 2016 due later this month.
