Sonoco ThermoSafe Launches Global Survey to Assess Current and Future State of Clinical Trial Supplies

The intent of the comprehensive and forward-looking survey is to assess current and future trends across four key areas: logistics, supply challenges, technology and innovation. The survey will be open until October 31, 2016 at www.thermosafe.com/ctssurvey.

"The average cost of developing a drug is about $2.6 billion, and one major component of that spend is within the clinical supply chain," said Vishal Khushalani, director of global marketing and business development, Sonoco ThermoSafe. "Investments in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries are only increasing, and we hope insights gathered from this global survey help companies baseline their current strategies in logistics, supply chain and technology to guide future investments."
