The total investment is approximately four million euro. The installation of a new narrow web printer and narrow web adhesive lamination machine will be completed by the middle of 2017. The investment will serve growing demand from the home and personal care (HPC) industry for high-quality packaging used especially in cosmetics.

The Burgos site is part of Constantia Tobepal S.L., which is a leading supplier of foil-based flexible packaging for the pharmaceutical, HPC and food industries for more than 80 years. Constantia Tobepal has roughly 500 employees at its Burgos and Logrono production sites in Spain.

"This investment not only increases operational efficiency due to its focus on short run batches, but also underlines our clear commitment to provide the best product and service to our customers," says Gerold Riegler, Chief Operating Officer at Constantia Flexibles.
