The Suburban Study Council is a regionally based professional learning network for active and retired superintendents from Pennsylvania's Chester and Delaware counties. The members of the Suburban Study Council form a strong leadership network that promotes communication, problem-solving, and exploration of educational programs. The council visits different sites throughout the school year to learn about new and successful programs focused on increased student achievement.

Omega Design Corp. proudly supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.) education and regularly engages with organizations to develop and support new and existing initiatives within the community.

At the meeting, members learned about the STEM Leadership Academy, a professional development workshop run by Chester County Intermediate Unit. During the second half of their meeting, Omega provided members with a tour of its facility. Members were divided into small groups and rotated through various hands-on stations to demonstrate how Omega engages school children in regional STEM curricula.

Omega will host a similar event for the STEM Leadership Academy on February 9, 2016.
