In this new role Therese will augment the existing cargo cover sales team and be responsible for developing partnerships with major shippers and logistics providers. She will also act as a sounding board for new product concepts and business ideas and is expected to be deeply involved in the launch of DuPont's third-generation cargo cover later this year. "I am delighted to be working with DuPont at this exciting stage of their development and to be back in the European pharma market after many years in the Middle East," she says. "With its greatly extended scope of application I believe the new generation Tyvek® cover will have a very positive impact on the market."

Therese has an excellent track record in new product introductions having been instrumental in driving innovations such as a European to-door-service, the Perishable Center at Frankfurt Airport, an industry-leading container leasing concept, the first Heating & Cooling technology container and the first generation of breathable cargo covers.

"Therese will be focused primarily on the Germany, Switzerland and Austria markets which are of considerable strategic importance to the DuPont Tyvek® Cargo Cover business," says Frederic Fleury , Global Marketing Manager Tyvek® Graphics and Protective Packaging. "Therese will be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious growth plans and we are very excited to have her in the team".

Therese is a highly experienced and successful business-development leader with a track record spanning twenty years in the airfreight and healthcare industries. Building on her accomplishments at Lufthansa Cargo, Envirotainer and Emirates SkyCargo, Therese has now founded Karavan Management Consulting to provide specialist cold chain advisory services covering the healthcare and hospitality industries. She holds an Air Transport Management Diploma, a Master Degree in Business Administration and a PMI Project Management Professional certification.

Visitors to the Coolchain Europe conference in Frankfurt on 26th/27th January will be able to meet Therese at the DuPont Tyvek® section of the Cluster for Logistics "Gateway to Europe" stand (no 21-24). In addition she will be leading the Post-Conference "GDP Essentials" training session on Jan 28th on behalf of Exelsius Cold Chain Management.
