MG America, the U.S. subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, Italy and a leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment, is now the exclusive distributor in the United States and Puerto Rico for COS.MEC, an Italy-based supplier of dispensing, granulation, mixing, loading and washing equipment. In addition to supplying COS.MEC’s lineup of premium processing machinery, MG America will assume customer service responsibilities including pre-installation inspection, line integration and ongoing maintenance duties.

Headquartered in Paderno Dugnano, Italy, COS.MEC has been designing and manufacturing machinery for the pharmaceutical and chemical processing industries since its inception in 1994. The company has established a solid reputation not only for precision engineering and its ability to adapt to specific customer needs, but also for the functional efficiency and cost-effectiveness of its equipment.

For COS.MEC’s processing customers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, the distribution agreement with MG America provides a reliable, reputable partner with deep knowledge and well-established ties in the greater North American marketplace.

“COS.MEC’s outstanding equipment portfolio, as well as its overall approach to tailored customer service in an industry that often necessitates intricate customization, is a very welcome addition to our product offerings,” said Fabio Trippodo, President of MG America. “We share COS.MEC’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and are confident that our partnership will be a successful one.”
