Clondalkin Group appoints new Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Clondalkin Group, an international producer of high value-added packaging products and solutions, has announced the appointment of Roy McAdoo as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of its Flexible Packaging division.

Based at the Group's Head Office in Amsterdam, McAdoo will take the lead on business development and increasing cross-selling across the division. McAdoo will be responsible for promoting the capabilities of the entire division to the market and customers, as well as developing the Clondalkin Flexible Packaging brand across the Group's target markets.

McAdoo has 15 years experience working with British Polythene Industries (BPI) in a variety of commercial and management roles across different divisions. His most recent role was as Commercial Director for the consumer division of BPI covering the produce and retail markets in the United Kingdom, China and Australia. Prior to joining BPI he spent 9 years with Shell Group in its Petrochemicals division.

Commenting on his new appointment Roy said: "Clondalkin Group has impressed me with its focus and ambitious plans for the future. The role of VP of Sales and Marketing provides the perfect platform to share my experience and expertise, and help to further develop and unify the businesses that sit within the Flexible Packaging Division."

Clondalkin Flexible Packaging operates 11 extrusion, printing and laminating and converting production facilities throughout Europe. It offers extensive experience in developing, manufacturing and marketing a wide range of packaging for multiple consumer goods and industrial markets.
