“The annual DGIS will focus on information technology solutions to Dangerous Goods processes including safety management systems, hazard materials access information initiatives, accreditation, certification and enhancements to essential procedures for transporting dangerous goods safely,” said Karen Baelum, senior segment marketing manager with Labelmaster. “This instructor-driven, focused event will leave attendees with perspectives and clarity on industry developments and the upgraded skills and knowledge needed to be more effective and efficient in the field.”

The symposium, initially primarily targeted toward trainers, now has grown to include professionals from all throughout the hazardous materials industry, according to Baelum.
