Pro Mach, Inc. announced today the completion of its acquisition of leading global capping machinery manufacturer Ets. André Zalkin & Cie. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Zalkin's management team and employees will continue to operate from their facilities in Montreuil L'Argillé and Rueil-Malmaison, France.

Pro Mach owned a minority stake in Zalkin before acquiring the remaining shares this week. The two companies have enjoyed a more than 40-year successful relationship that began when Pro Mach's Fowler Products division and Zalkin initiated a partnership in 1972. Together, Fowler and Zalkin have delivered advanced capping solutions to a diverse customer base of food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies.

Pro Mach is one of North America's largest packaging machinery and integrated system providers, with more than 20 equipment brands sold throughout the world. It manufactures and supports solutions for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, processing, end of line, material handling, and identification and tracking. In recent years Pro Mach has increased its focus on markets outside North America, particularly Latin America and Europe.

"Pro Mach and Zalkin have an impressive history of customer satisfaction and business success together," said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach President and CEO. "We're proud to welcome Zalkin's outstanding team to the Pro Mach family. We share the same commitment for delivering superior productivity, quality, and value to our customers. We look forward to working together to accelerate growth and strengthen our position as a global leader in packaging solutions. I firmly believe our most rewarding accomplishments together are still to come."

Zalkin, founded in 1932, is a leading capping machinery brand that stands out among competitors for its advanced technology and high-speed capping quality and reliability. Zalkin manufactures screw, push-on, and Roll-on Pilfer Proof (ROPP) capping machines, as well as cap sorters, elevators, and decappers. Zalkin produces both standard and highly customized solutions and has developed long-term relationships with many of the world's leading consumer and industrial brands. Pro Mach will continue to invest in the Zalkin brand and facilities in France, including completion of an upcoming factory expansion.

"This is a win-win for our customers and the Zalkin team," said Zalkin General Manager Michel Marion. "Pro Mach provides strength, stability, and investment that will allow us to grow faster and continue developing the world's best capping products and solutions. Our customers will also have greater access to the entire Pro Mach product line. We're excited about our opportunities to grow together and the additional resources to serve our global customers."
