Tekni-Plex, Inc., a globally-integrated company that develops and manufactures innovative packaging materials and precision-crafted tubing solutions, has been awarded a Certified Supplier Award from Unilab, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the Philippines.  The award was presented at a prestigious ceremony hosted by Unilab on May 6, 2013.

The award was determined by Unilab executives who comprise the company’s Supplier Quality Management Program.  Criteria included overall product quality, on-time delivery performance (customer service), and cost competitiveness.  To gain recognition as a Certified Supplier, companies such as Tekni-Plex needed to garner a score of 99-100, the highest possible rating.

Unilab has held a market share of at least 20% in the Philippines for the past three decades, with a portfolio that includes some of the most prominent prescription and consumer healthcare brands in the country.

“It is an honor to be recognized by Unilab, a true industry leader that has set such a high standard of excellence in the Philippines and beyond,” said David Andrulonis, VP & General Manager, Flexible Packaging for Tekni-Plex.  “We look forward to continuing our very successful partnership with such a prestigious customer for years to come.”
