Rondo-Pak, a leading provider of quality folding cartons to the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries, has hired packaging veteran Victor Dixon as its new President and Chief Operating Officer.  In this role, Mr. Dixon will oversee the company’s business development and promotional strategies, focusing not only on day-to-day operations but also growth potential, market positioning and a branding initiative that will be rolled out incrementally in 2013.

In bringing on Mr. Dixon, Rondo-Pak hopes to parlay recent successes into a longer-term growth phase, one which includes diversification of the company’s products and services to further strengthen its reputation for providing high quality, expert package components and solutions.

Mr. Dixon brings a broad range of both packaging and promotional experience to Rondo-Pak.  Most recently, he served as President, CEO and Operating Partner for Brandstir, a mobile marketing specialty firm that links printed packaging and digital content with smart phones.  Prior to this, he spent three years with Catalent Pharma Solutions, LLC as Vice President & General Manager, Printed Components and, before that, served as President & CEO of Cortegra Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held various executive positions at Alcoa/Reynolds Packaging and several other well respected global packaging and industrial manufacturing companies.

In Rondo-Pak, Mr. Dixon joins a company with a long history of meeting market demands for innovative paperboard packaging. Current Rondo-Pak attributes include a manufacturing and package design center located in Norristown, Pennsylvania along with additional global locations in sister companies Rondo AG in Switzerland and Rondo Obally in the Czech Republic offering; c-GMP practices and RFID technology; EAS security tagging; booklet label applications; anti-counterfeit solutions; child resistant/senior friendly and tamper evident features; digital watermarking and other innovative packaging technologies.

“I am grateful to be joining the team at Rondo-Pak at such an exciting time for the company,” said Dixon.  “I look forward to taking part in the continued progress and industry leadership that this company has exhibited for decades.”

Mr. Dixon is involved with several industry-related organizations, including the Philadelphia Drug Exchange and the Paperboard Packaging Council.  A father of five, he resides in Yardley, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Lynn.
