Romaco exhibits liquid filler at Emballage 2012

Macofar LF 200 liquid Filler offers high-quality processing and packaging for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals.

The Romaco exhibit at this year's Paris Emballage will focus on technologies for pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing as well as primary and secondary packaging.

Macofar LF 200 liquid filler

Romaco's new Macofar LF 200 liquid filler is a novel technology for filling liquid pharmaceuticals and cosmetics or nutraceuticals. This high-speed machine boasts a maximum output of 12,000 bottles or vials an hour, depending on the filling volume. Optimal accessibility and very simple operation are the hallmarks of this compact, ergonomic machine.

The result: short retooling and cleaning times. The cGMP-compliant design together with the servo-driven execution offer reliable processing and excellent product quality. Furthermore, various available dosing systems and closure mechanisms provide maximum flexibility for handling a wide range of products.

Noack N 921 blister packaging line

Compact and remarkably versatile, the Noack N 921 blister packaging line can be adapted quickly and easily to varying production conditions. Short cleaning times and tool-free conversion make the line highly efficient and provide excellent OEE values. The interchangeable QuickFeed unit significantly speeds up product changeovers. In line with the integrated Promatic PC 4200 continuous motion cartoner, the Noack plant generates a packaging capacity of up to 500 blisters a minute. Featuring a balcony design and rotary sealing, the blister line enables precise processes and high product quality. Servo-driven QuickAdjust station control systems guarantee accurate coding, perforating and die-cutting.

FrymaKoruma MZ 110 toothed colloid mill

The toothed colloid mills in the FrymaKoruma MZ series assure each product is always milled to the correct size. The technology is suited for wet grinding cosmetic applications and healthcare products of almost any viscosity. Users can choose between coarse, standard or cross-toothed tools depending on the product type. The milling gap can be individually adjusted. MZ mills redefine the benchmarks for hygiene management and product safety owing to the systematic elimination of dead spaces from the milling interior and the integration of CIP (Cleaning in Place) and SIP (Sterilisation in Place).

FrymaKoruma Dinex Lab vacuum processing unit

Featuring a new homogenizer generation, the FrymaKoruma Dinex Lab vacuum processing unit facilitates optimal processing times, droplet distribution and product quality. The improved tool geometry enables the product processing time within the homogenizer to be extended and increases the overall efficiency of the system. The optimized energy input is a particular advantage for shear-sensitive products. The tiny droplet sizes achieved with this system enhances the very high quality of the creams, ointments, lotions and dispersions being manufactured.

The Romaco technology will be on show at Emballage in Paris/France from November 19 to 22, 2012 (Hall 5a, Stand J 047).
