Cen-Med Enterprises, leading supplier to the healthcare industry, debuts new Technical Services Division dedicated to repair and maintenance of analytical instruments and lab storage equipment

Cen-Med Enterprises, a New Brunswick, NJ company, is pleased to announce a major step forward in establishing itself as a services provider in the healthcare industry.

Already recognized as one of the remaining few privately held acute-care distributors in New York and New Jersey, Cen-Med continues to evolve to meet the needs of a changing industry by inaugurating a new division dedicated to the service and repair of analytical instruments and storage equipment in labs.

"Because most of the smaller healthcare distributors have been driven out of business by the goliaths, Cen-Med is unique in that we are privately held and continuing to expand," expressed Rizwan Chaudhry, Vice President of Sales. "Our philosophy is pretty simple: growth through innovation." And that's what Cen-Med has relentlessly pursued. When launching the tech services division a few months ago, Cen-Med was moving into something very different from its core business. But in the past few months, orders for a variety of services including repair, calibrations, preventative maintenance have grown, as well as new areas of product services including contract engineering.

A driving force behind this new concept is Umer Chaudhry, Director of Strategic Markets. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management and has long been a proponent of the company's venture into this area. And this focus is paying dividends as Cen-Med technical services is not only working on regional hospital and independent lab equipment but has also expanded into international projects on jobs that require a high level of engineering expertise.

Rizwan Chaudhry, speaking of the future, points out that Cen-Med's plan is to use the lessons it has learned in the distribution business to expand the technical services division. And he expects it to realize the same level of success and growth. "In spite of all the competition,' Chaudhry mused, "we are still here and sitting on a tremendous opportunity, to re-establish the position of the independent business, while using our expertise and experience to deliver services to our customers, and profits to our bottom line."
