The acquisition was announced on 1 June 2012. Gascogne Laminates Switzerland employs approximately 110 people in its operations in Martigny, Switzerland.

UPM has today started employee consultations in Martigny in order to adjust the cost structure and organization of the factory to a sustainable level.
