Cambridge Bioscience named exclusive distributor for Nanoink in the United Kingdom and Ireland

NanoInk's NanoFabrication Systems Division is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Cambridge Bioscience to serve as its exclusive distributor in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Cambridge Bioscience will distribute NanoInk's desktop nanofabrication equipment including the NLP 2000 System and the DPN 5000 System, which have a wide range of applications ranging from nanoarray-based protein analysis to nanoengineering and biomaterial research. As a leading distributor of life science products and equipment, Cambridge Bioscience has a passion for bringing new and exciting technologies to researchers.

"Cambridge Bioscience has already established strong relationships within NanoInk's target customer base in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Its sales and marketing team has the background required to understand the scientific market and they have proven expertise in selling technically-sophisticated equipment into that space. With these strengths, Cambridge Bioscience is the ideal partner for driving sales of NanoInk's unique nanofabrication platforms in the United Kingdom and Ireland," said Robert Marchmont, general manager, NanoInk's NanoFabrication Systems Division, EMEA. "We look forward to a close and successful long-term partnership with Cambridge Bioscience as we expand our reach in Europe by promoting the unique capabilities and benefits of NanoInk's line of patterning systems."

"We are delighted to be appointed as the distributor for NanoInk in the United Kingdom and Ireland," said Jay Champaneri, business manager for Cambridge Bioscience. "NanoInk's systems provide a strong synergy with the innovative life science research products that Cambridge Bioscience already brings to scientists and we look forward to working closely with the NanoInk team."

NanoInk's NanoFabrication Systems Division brings sophisticated nanofabrication to the laboratory desktop in an easy to use and affordable setting. NanoInk's NLP 2000 System is a desktop nanofabrication system that allows researchers to rapidly design and create custom engineered and functionalized surfaces, using Dip Pen Nanolithography® (DPN®) to transfer minute amounts of materials over a large, environmentally controlled work area.

The DPN 5000 System is a full-featured, dedicated instrument for versatile nanopatterning of a variety of materials with nanoscale accuracy and precision. With its user-friendly interface, it is possible to easily design complex patterns while also precisely controlling the tip movements during the writing process.

Cambridge Bioscience works with over forty specialist suppliers around the world and offers an innovative, extensive and diverse range of over 400,000 products supporting research in many areas including cell biology, regenerative medicine and protein analysis. More information is available here.
