Constar Promotes Matt Dauzvardis to Vice President, Corporate Technologies

Constar has announced the promotion of Matt Dauzvardis to Vice President, Corporate Technologies at its Research and Development Center in Alsip, Ill.

As Vice President, Corporate Technologies, Dauzvardis will be responsible for leading the packaging company’s material, design and engineering teams. He is charged with extending Constar’s leadership in barrier technology for PET bottles and jars and advancing the company’s technical capabilities for hot-fill foods and beverages. This includes further developments in X4™ and Vertical Compensation Technology™ (VCT™), panel-less packaging technologies that withstand the rigors of hot fill processing and facilitate faster filling and labeling line speeds.

A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Dauzvardis joined Constar in 2002. Prior to his promotion, he served as Senior Director, Global Technologies and has been recognized for his leadership throughout the development and commercialization of MonOxbar® and DiamondClear® oxygen scavenging technologies, which have earned Constar multiple global and national industry awards for ketchup and wine packaging.
