Technology Days 2010 is a showcase for many of Stäubli's latest innovations - more than any other event of its kind. Presentations and exhibits from a variety of Stäubli business units will also be featured. Here's a glimpse:
Textile Division: Jacquard and Delta machines, with demonstrations of state-of-the art weaving and weaving preparation.
Connectors Division: A variety of multi coupling plates, electromagnetic quick mold change systems, robotic tool changers, refueling systems for natural gas vehicles and mono couplings for nuclear and military applications. In addition, there will be a Jankel J8 military Jeep and several racecars including a NASCAR stock car, Ferrari GT and Volkswagen TDI - all of which utilize Stäubli connector technology.
Multi-Contact: Production facility tour for the manufacturing of solar cable assembly systems. Display of a live robotic demo for solar junction box assembly, which features plastics molding, vision inspection, sealant dispensing, soldering and final assembly processes. Also this area will be featuring a full range of industrial electrical connectors.
Robotics Division: Live demos of applications for a variety of industries including solar, life sciences, food and semiconductors, including robots capable of vapor hydrogen peroxide sterilization and vision-guided tracking.
Stäubli technology experts from all over the world will be on hand to answer your questions and help you make the most of this exciting event as you tour the 100,000 square foot facility recently expanded for the production of cable connector systems for the solar industry, robotic tool changers for the automotive industry, and electromagnetic quick mold change systems for the plastics industry.
