The new site, www.reusables.org, went live Aug. 23. The site provides a broad array of industry information and resources related to reusable packaging, including interactive tools like sustainability and ROI calculators to measure and justify the implementation of reusables, and social media tools to facilitate discussion and interaction with industry experts, RPA members and other visitors. The site features industry news and resources, and RPA research and member news. The RPA also updated its logo to coincide with the look and timing of the new website.

“The new website is a strategic tool that directly supports the RPA's key objectives, “ said Jon Kalin, RPA Chairman of the Board and Sales and Marketing Manager for Rehrig Pacific. “It promotes the expansion of reusable transport packaging systems by demonstrating the value of reusables, providing a centralized source for recognized expertise on reusables, and communicating the collective voice of industry professionals within the reusable supply chain.”

“In addition to providing much more comprehensive information, the new website includes many social media tools to drive discussion and engagement among our members,” said Jerry Welcome, President, RPA. “These tools will help us better represent the interests of our members, as well as further the RPA's position as the industry's recognized expert in the use of reusable supply chain packaging solutions. We will continue to grow the website and expand its resources to create more member value, greater connectivity between members and the association, and to promote the industry.”

Key features of the new website include:

* More information about the industry and member companies
* Tools for members to promote new products and services
* Easy access to information and research studies
* Detailed information about upcoming events, including the RPA Pavilion at PACKEXPO 2010
* Daily industry updates
* A fresh look with new logo and color scheme
* Links to member companies in the directory
