Tyler Distribution Centers, Inc., a division of Port Jersey Logistics, a leading public warehousing and distribution company, announced the recent opening of its new 30,000 sq. ft. value added services facility in Dayton, NJ.
The new operation concentrates on fulfillment, shipper & display assembly, repackaging, labeling, kitting, light assembly and more.
While Tyler has always offered these services at each of its current locations, the needs of Tyler's clients have increased, and so has the need to expand the company's scope and capabilities.
“This new dedicated facility allows us to expand the services offered and to participate in larger, higher volume projects,” said Lou Keating, Executive Vice President. “We remain committed to closely working with our client base to continuously develop our offerings and provide value and support to their supply chains.”
As with their other locations, Tyler Distribution's newest facility operates state-of-the-art technology to provide advanced order processing, inventory control, shelf-life management and visibility to clients. Various types of material handling equipment are also available to accommodate a wide range of products and packaging. In addition, this new facility adheres to stringent security and sanitation standards such as C-TPAT and AIB.
