TCP Reliable has recently opened a new manufacturing plant for its Cryopak subsidiary in Maromme, France. Officially starting operations in March of 2009, Cryopak, the leader in temperature controlled packaging, is now manufacturing and shipping products on a broad scale to companies across Europe. "This facility currently signifies the first phase of our goal of providing cold chain products and services to the European market" William Boulay, Cryopak (France) plant manager, said.
Phase one, which included the manufacturing of polyurtethane insulated shippers and refrigerants, will soon be followed by phase two, which includes the expansion of the manufacturing of refrigerant gel packs. Phase two is expected to be completed by mid 2010. With the recent addition of the new Cryopak France location, Cryopak now has 5 manufacturing locations in the United States and Canada.
"This international location is the latest link to the TCP Family's goal of ensuring unified product integrity solutions for the life science industry across the world," Maurice Barakat, President/CEO of TCP Reliable, said.
