Walmart recognizes MeadWestvaco for sustainability

MeadWestvaco Corp. was nominated as a top-four finalist at Walmart's Supplier of the Year Conference in the category of Sustainability for its Shellpak compliance packaging.

Shellpack is one of the packages used in Walmart's $4 generic drug and branded drug programs, and its design is based on the premise that better adherence to a medication regimen can improve longer-term health outcomes.
