CSafe's open house was at the company's new service center adjacent to the island's Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). More than 50 customers and partners attended the celebration and toured the new service center and showroom, where CSafe’s complete line of active, passive packaging and passive hand-held couriers were displayed.
Brian Kohr, President and CEO stated, “We pride ourselves on having the best maintenance program in the industry. Our rigorous inspection, monitoring and preventative maintenance program insures that no matter the length of time a CSafe RKN container has been in the fleet, its performance will be the same as the new units that are being produced daily in our U.S. manufacturing facility."
The opening of the new CSafe facility was prefaced by the arrival of more than 100 CSafe active shipping containers. CSafe Global procured several full 747F charter aircrafts to move CSafe RKN ULDs into Puerto Rico. The containers are being utilized to support the country’s growing manufacturing industry.
In addition to the CSafe RKN, CSafe’s passive and small active solutions will be available for use within and for shipments leaving Puerto Rico. CSafe will also be able to provide conditioned and ready-to-use passive and active solutions from its own facility.
CSafe Global manufactures AcuTemp® passive packaging and hand-held mobile carriers, the CSafe® brand of active containers, and is the exclusive manufacturer and provider of ThermoCor® vacuum insulation. CSafe RKN utilizes heating and compressor-driven cooling technology to eliminate the risks associated with extreme ambient conditions ranging from -30°C to +49°C as well as the cost, aggravation and environmental challenges associated with dry ice transportation. The passive packaging assortment includes solutions for 2-8°C, CRT and frozen shipments with temperature hold times up to 240 hours.
