New shipment service announced at 'Cold chain' event

Healthcare companies can choose from tiered service levels for the transport of cold chain products.

UPS announced new service levels for managing the full range of temperature-sensitive healthcare product as part of its UPS Temperature True® portfolio at the 11th Annual Cold Chain GDP & Temperature Management Logistics Global Forum.

With tremendous global growth in the transportation of cold chain products, healthcare companies can now choose from tiered service levels based on the degree of control needed, leveraging both the speed of air and the economies of ocean freight while ensuring protection in the supply chain.

The newly expanded service offers more options for shipping temperature-sensitive products such as specialty pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices and diagnostics, as well as generic consumer health and veterinarian medicine.
