Axon appoints VP and general manager
Axon announced that Bob Williams has been named Vice President and General Manager of Axon. Williams joined the company in 2014 as vice president of sales and marketing and will expand his leadership role at Axon to foster ongoing innovations in the company’s shrink sleeve, multipack, and tamper evident band applicator technology.
KLEENLine appoints VP and general manager
KLEENLine announced that Gene Shaw is the division’s new Vice President and General Manager. Shaw has held senior posts in management and sales at such companies as Extreme Packaging, Osgood, Inc., Oystar, and Barry Wehmiller and brings 25 years management, sales, and technical experience in the packaging industry to his new position.
Benchmark Automation appoints sales engineer
Benchmark Automation, announced that Eric Cruse was named as Midwest Regional Sales Engineer. He is responsible for accelerating the growth of Benchmark Automation equipment sales through close working relationships with manufacturers’ representatives and by developing new business opportunities throughout the Midwest. Cruse comes to Benchmark Automation from Peerless Food Equipment where he held positions of increasing responsibility.
Ossid names Southeast sales representative
Ossid hired Andrew Birdwell as a Southeast Sales Representative. His primary role will be to foster strong relationships with new and existing customers as well as expand Ossid’s business into new markets.
Fowler Products and Federal Mfg. adds western regional sales manager
Fowler Products and Federal Mfg. appointed Nick Bottinelli as Western Regional Sales Manager. Bottinelli has more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing in the packaging industry. In his new role, he is responsible for Fowler/Zalkin capping machine and cap handling systems and Federal Mfg. filling machine solutions on the West Coast. Bottinelli has held sales and marketing positions for leaders in the packaging industry serving the U.S. and international markets, including Ball Corporation, Graphic Packaging, Barry-Wehmiller, and Ashworth Bros. Inc.
