Stiplastics’ launched a range of drop dispenser nozzles for human and animal healthcare. The new device includes a child-resistant (CR) cap, a dispenser nozzle, and a container that is fully sealed during transportation and use, making it suitable for dosing viscous and oily products such as serum excipients and eye lotions. Ready to be filled and easily automated, the device offers increased productivity as well as guaranteed recycling in plastics industries.

The flexible dispenser nozzle is designed to administer the exact dose required. By exerting pressure on the intermediate reservoir rather than directly on the bottle, drops can be administered one by one, thereby providing perfect flow control. The product’s unique shape is perfect for localized medication delivery in the ear or in the corner of the eye. Moreover, its tip stops when it reaches a certain point in the human ear, thereby avoiding the risk of “going too far.” The thin nozzle tip makes it easy to fill reservoirs of other devices. The nozzle is integral to the bottle, resulting in a perfect seal with the bottle during transportation and use.

The PET bottle offers high resistance/chemical inertia to juice, flavors, and fragrances. It is extremely rigid, which makes the bottle very stable. The device is currently available in a 10-mL format. Its CR cap complies with the ISO 8317 standard and operates on a push-and-turn system.
