Entries for the 2008 Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council Compliance Package of the Year competition will be accepted from November 15, 2008 through March 15, 2009. Qualifying packages must be in a unit-dose format, have at least one compliance-enhancing feature, have been commercially available-anywhere in the world-at some point during 2008, and not require drug products to be repackaged by patients. Judging will be based on the package's ability to increase pharmaceutical compliance, innovative packaging designs, and unique features that distinguish it from others on the market.
