This time their target is solutions for diabetes patients.

The company recently filed a patent application for a device that would draw blood and monitor blood sugar levels for diabetics without the use of a needle, according to the website Trend Hunter.

Google's device would use pressurized gas to pierce the skin and procure only a "micro-emergence" of blood, according to the article.
