Griffin-Rutgers’ X1Jet ink-jet printing system is designed for high-speed printing in a wide range of applications. The printer can be supplied for use with HP or Funai (formally Lexmark) print heads with print resolutions up to 900 dpi. The cartridge and the complete print head are exchanged simultaneously.
The printer stores up to nine print images and comes complete with an integrated product sensor to activate printing automatically. The 3-logic intuitive operation with LED status light makes the X1Jet simple and easy to use. Data transmission is initialized with a USB stick. Systems are available with iCode cartridges monitoring to automatically detect the ink type in use and the setting of the corresponding parameters (e.g. firing and ink level).
The X1Jet employs True Type fonts for printing and prints all linear and two-dimensional codes. The controller is fully integrated into the print module.Wide ranges of inks are available.
