The technologies from Heat and Control can be used in all commercial production equipment applications.

Inspira, the next-generation VFFS bagmaker, and ACP-700, an automatic case packer (both shown here), are new to Ishida’s packaging room line-up. These machines are completely integrated and automated packaging room solutions for the snack industry that can improve efficiency and performance and provide effective automation and communications between the weigher, bagmaker and case packer.

The company’s new navigation interface, New Horizon, delivers essential information to help operators and maintenance personnel succeed. It features a clear touchscreen display and intuitive interface that can quickly and thoroughly be understood and correctly operated. All relevant information is in one location where operators can get needed real-time indication of the machine’s performance when making the necessary adjustments to keep a production line moving, and smart alarms give early warnings before matters become critical.

Meanwhile, the FastBack Revolution OMS System combines the seasoning performance of the patented dynamic AccuFlavorâ„¢ Tumble Drum, the efficiency of the Modular Dust Collection System, and the advanced FastBack 260E-G3 into one compact, cost-efficient, standalone unit designed to overcome seasoning challenges at the weigher.

The Slurry-on-Demand Continuous Mixer eliminates the inherent flaws of standard mix and use tank systems. The recipe-driven, tankless, continuous mixer automatically and accurately mixes seasonings and liquids into homogeneous, lump-free slurries in the desired quantity demanded downstream, reducing wasted ingredients and operator start-up and cleaning time. And because an operator is not involved in measuring and dosing ingredients, the exact quantities of ingredients are accurately dosed and the ratios maintained, resulting in minimal residual slurry at the end of a production run.

Heat and Control is Ishida’s and CEIA’s exclusive partner in the Americas, and a manufacturer and supplier of food processing, packaging, and inspection equipment, with experience and resources to provide a single machine or combination system for any operation. The company offers demonstrations of equipment performance for evaluation and comprehensive technical support—commissioning, start-up, parts, repairs, modifications, and training to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
