Pharmaceuticals, biologics, and other products that require temperature-controlled environments pose a unique supply chain challenge for brand owners, demanding sophisticated packaging, tracking, material and logistical considerations.

Healthcare Packaging magazine, owned by Summit Media Group, has long been covering new developments in this area and has recently teamed up with IQPC, a global producer of cold chain conferences and events. Via their new marketing agreement, the two companies will engage in a variety of cross-promotional initiatives to grow awareness of their respective brands among buyers and sellers of cold chain packaging products and services.

IQPC is an international events producer, based in New York, which also offers executive training and seminars for various industries. IQPC's division, Cold Chain IQ, educates the industry throughout the year and between events as an online resource center offering industry news, current affairs and best practice information in temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals.

Business-to-business publication Healthcare Packaging and its companion website regularly report on industry developments, applications, and new products for professionals who package pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, and other healthcare products.

Healthcare Packaging will provide editorial coverage of some of the Cold Chain IQ events, as part of their media exchange with IQPC. Similarly, professionals who are engaging with IQPC will be introduced to Healthcare Packaging through content sharing and other cross-marketing efforts.

Healthcare Packaging publisher Jim Chrzan comments: "We're very excited about working with IQPC. Logistics continues to be an important part of life sciences packaging considerations, and this partnership will position our editors on the 'front lines' of content-enabling us to continue to deliver timely, in-depth information for our print and online audience."

"We're delighted Healthcare Packaging will attend IQPC Cold Chain events globally to report on current affairs and industry best practices in regions such as India, Asia, and Europe. Collaborating with Healthcare Packaging is a great opportunity for Cold Chain IQ to delve further into the technical aspects of packaging for the life sciences industry, a fundamental interest of our international cold chain community," says Courtney Becker-James, IQPC Cold Chain Director.

Cold Chain IQ, a division of IQPC, is an international online community focusing on providing pharmaceutical professionals with temperature control logistics and quality resources. Members benefit by reading expert analysis, trend-setting articles, listening to podcast interviews, watching video features and top-rated presentations from IQPC's global temp control supply chain event series. Each year IQPC offers approximately 2,000 worldwide conferences, seminars, and related learning programs across many disciplines, functions and vertical industries. IQPC has offices in major cities across six continents including: Berlin, Dubai, London, New York, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Stockholm, Sydney and Toronto.
