Selenis expands, rebrands specialty polyester resins

Selenis positions itself for new markets in rebrand.

Selenis developed and adapted new product formulations to improve product properties for specific applications, which enabled the company to compete in new markets. The company has also rebranded part of their product line to reposition itself in the market.

The evolution of Selenis was helped by the R&D center located at San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy, an industrial site acquired by the IMG group in 2015. This, along with a fully equipped laboratory, has allowed Selenis and their customers to take advantage of a product development and improvement option, resulting in several new Selenis product lines. The R&D center has also assumed the role of the main technical support center, centralizing customer support.

To accompany this growth, Selenis has invested in creating a stronger brand online and also re-launched its website. The website upgrades feature a new search tool and a new market and application section. Additionally, this new section provides information on which products provide a solution for each of the industries. With the redesigned website, Selenis has also taken the opportunity to incorporate more extensive for its product range, and including the product’s technical documents.
