The Edson Raptor SL, an automated case packing solution, is a side-load machine that erects, packs, and hot-melt seals as many as 12 cases per minute of bath tissue, paper towels, napkins, or facial tissue. This automated case packing machine enables small to mid-sized companies to expand production in order to accommodate increased sales, improve competitiveness, or lower labor costs.
The Raptor SL will feature ProTech by Pro Mach™, a new cloud-based remote tech support and machine monitoring capability. The Raptor SL also purports to lower end of line labor costs by reducing both the number of workers and overall time associated with case packing.
Changeover between stock keeping units (SKUs) can be accomplished in approximately 15 minutes and does not require tools. Edson also offers an option based on servo technology that performs fully automated changeover.
