FDA finds problems with four sexual enhancement supplements

The FDA is warning consumer not to use or purchase FX3000, Hard Wang, MME MAXMAN and Vigour 300, all products promoted for sexual enhancement, after finding the same hidden ingredient, Sidenafil, in all of them.

Sildenafil, the active ingredient in the FDA approved prescription drug Viagra, used to treat erectile dysfunction.This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.Men with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates.

All of the products were identified by the FDA during an examination of international mail shipments.
