A recent AS article discussed a new drug that claims to eliminate COVID-19 from a patient within just three days. The orally ingested antiviral drug is manufactured by Merck, and goes by the name molnupiravir. According to the WHO, the drug is intended for “patients with non-severe COVID-19 who are at maximum risk of hospitalization” and should not be taken by children or pregnant women.
