For the first time, the[PACK]out® will bring the entire program into one room with a single-track format, and the healthcare packaging community is invited to help shape it. The industry-built conference, taking place May 10–13, 2027 in National Harbor, Maryland, is accepting abstracts through October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
With no concurrent sessions, every attendee shares the same experience and every presentation reaches the full audience. As interest in presenting at thePACKout continues to grow, the one-room format means fewer speaking slots and a bigger stage for work that moves the industry forward.
“One room means one conversation,” said members of the 2027 Programming Committee. “When every session reaches the entire community, it’s a chance to shape where healthcare packaging goes next. Attendees want to hear from practitioners about what they’ve learned, tested, or changed, and why it matters to the people in the room and the industry at large.”
The community is especially interested in:
· New or emerging research and findings
· Case studies and real-world applications
· Original data, analysis, or experimentation
· Lessons learned from successes, failures, and challenges
· New approaches to persistent industry problems
· Cross-functional or cross-industry perspectives
Submission themes include Regulatory, Standards, & Compliance; Design & Materials; Usability, Human Factors, & End-User Experience; Process & Technology Innovation; Testing & Inspection; Sterilization; Supply Chain; Sustainability; and Education & Career Development.
All presentations must be educational and noncommercial. Every abstract is reviewed by members of the healthcare packaging community, who look for work that is novel, evidence-based, relevant, practical, and authentic.
How to submit: Abstracts can be submitted at bit.ly/tPo2027-abstracts. Questions can be directed to [email protected].
