Niverplast NA Inc. has introduced an updated version of its CombiPlast machine, the CombiPlast C500.
The CombiPlast C500 is designed for packaging lines that require boxes to be erected and bags automatically inserted. This process is applicable to industries such as bakeries and food processing.
The C500 features a modular design for valves and sensors, integrating them directly into the module. This design requires a single cable and air hose to the control cabinet, which reduces installation time. The module is universal, fitting both left and right-hand machine setups. For leftward output, the Z-axis with spreader unit is on the exit tunnel side, and for a right-hand machine, it is on the box setup side.
The machine includes servo control over the X-axis, which enables the motion to pick up bags from the bag magazine without using compressed air. The internal height of the machine has been raised by 50 mm, allowing it to handle taller box sizes without additional adjustments.
For transport, the overall machine height is lower, which allows it to fit into a shipping container without disassembling the head. The CombiPlast C500 operates on Beckhoff systems.
