The Munson HD-3.5-9-SS ribbon blender includes an integral bag dump station that collects dust generated during manual dumping. Hand-held sacks are slit and dumped through a welded grate that helps trap oversized lumps and bag scraps as airborne dust is drawn onto the dust collector cartridge filters. Nozzles within each filter alternately emit short blasts of air on a timed cycle, dislodging accumulated dust. Capable of blending up to 85 cu ft of powders, pastes, or slurries in five to 10 minutes, the unit uniformly distributes particles of dissimilar sizes, shapes, and bulk densities.

Make plans to visit PACK EXPO International in Chicago, November 8-11, to see the latest technologies for food processing and packaging machinery and materials.
