By setting up its own sales office in Mexico, Kautex Maschinenbau is meeting the growing demand for extrusion blow molding machines in the North and Central America market. The name of the new company is Kautex Machines México S.A. de C.V. and its headquarters are located in Mexico City. Long-standing sales partner Mucio Vieyra will run the office with support from three service technicians and the North American sales company Kautex Machines Inc., based in New Jersey. The plan in 2018 is for additional service technicians to join the Mexican team.
Greater proximity to customers
The establishment of Kautex sales offices in rapidly growing markets is part of the decentralization strategy being pursued by the international manufacturer of extrusion blow molding machines. “Proximity to our customers is an important element of our success story,” says Andreas Lichtenauer, Managing Partner at Kautex Maschinenbau. “The more familiar we are with the expectations and requirements of our local customers, the more appropriate the solutions we are able to offer them.” Particular interest is expected in the Mexican market for KBS- and KSB-series machines for automotive applications as well as KBB and KCC machines for industrial and consumer packaging.
