Leading polyolefin shrink film manufacturer Clysar, LLC, announces new leadership appointments to its senior management team, effective immediately. Shrink packaging industry executive Vicki Larson—a 29-year veteran of the Clysar business—has been named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Clysar, LLC. Vicki assumes full responsibility for running Clysar on a day-to-day basis.
Larson’s deep, broad knowledge of Clysar encompasses multiple ownership transformations; and she has served in diverse capacities ranging from customer service and production planning to sales and marketing to senior management. She also brings extensive experience in the shrink film industry and packaging materials distribution. Larson assumes her new leadership position from her former role as Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Corporate Administration, and will report directly to CEO Mr. William Morris.
Additional Clysar senior management promotions include Guangda Shi, Vice President, Research and Development, and Michael Vopatek, Vice President, Operations. Shi served most recently as Director of Product Development and Process Improvement, and will focus on optimizing and expanding the Clysar® line of shrink films to meet customer needs. Vopatek, formerly Director of Operations, will take on additional responsibility for bringing on new operating and production technologies to deepen Clysar capabilities and deliver strong competitive efficiencies.
The promotions were announced following this month’s quarterly meeting of the Company Board of Governors.
