Sherpa Clinical Packaging (www.sherpaclinical.com), a leader in clinical materials management services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Rosenthal as the Senior Director of Operations. Kevin joins the Sherpa team to lead Sherpa's Operations group and take Sherpa to the highest level of service excellence.
Kevin is not new to the clinical supply chain and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. He has extensive experience working for leading pharma and biotech companies including Pharmatek Laboratories, where he led manufacturing business operations and was responsible for growth initiatives including facility expansion and new technology implementation. As Director of Manufacturing, Kevin managed over 1000 GMP productions for Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials and led construction of two GMP manufacturing facilities. Prior to Pharmatek, Kevin worked at Irisys, Inc. and Elan and Dura Pharmaceuticals in manufacturing and product/process development. Mr. Rosenthal received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from San Diego State University.

Along with the addition of Kevin Rosenthal, Mark Shepanski has transitioned into the position of Senior Director of Quality.
Mark has been with Sherpa for two years in a senior Operations management role. Prior to joining Sherpa, he held several Quality leadership positions for a prominent medical products company and is experienced in key Quality functions including supplier management, internal and external auditing, and process and product improvement projects. Mark's experience in Clinical Packaging and Quality coupled with his strong customer focus is an asset to Sherpa as we continue to grow.
