Crown Launches Specialty Packaging Microsite to Provide Design, Inspiration & Support

As part of a continuous effort to cater to customer demands for faster time-to-market, cost-effectiveness and easy access to a pool of creative packaging concepts, CROWN Aerosols and Specialty Packaging Europe, a business unit of Crown Holdings, Inc. (Crown) (www.crowncork.com) has launched a dedicated microsite to help brand owners experience the various design possibilities offered by metal packaging.

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

The new site (http://sp.crowncork.com/) which is available in English, French and German, highlights the company's extensive portfolio of tin shapes and sizes along with a variety of decorative finishes, inks, varnishes and effects that can be used to enhance the appeal of the final package. The site allows visitors to interact with 3D renderings of all of its stock tin shapes and sizes to get a better appreciation for the package from all angles. Visitors can also search for recommended tin shapes and sizes based on the market they serve.

The new online resource also highlights Crown's in-house designer services offered to brand owners and features inspirational images of tins customized for products in a variety of market segments.

The site will be updated regularly with news and market information to help visitors stay informed about the latest technology developments from Crown and the packaging industry as a whole.

The ability to tailor a concept digitally has already proven invaluable to brands. This is a new platform which seeks to make life easier for customers and potential customers of Crown, and is just the beginning of the journey towards fuller online customer interaction.
