Verify Brand has been leading strategic serialization projects since the emergence of the need for effective track and trace more than 15 years ago, and understands the challenges pharma brands face. The company helps deploy end-to-end track and trace solutions—serializing, verifying and tracking individual products and groups of items at all levels—so organizations can comply with U.S. federal and international regulations.

“Our pharma team is expanding as global compliance dates loom ever closer. We’re excited that Haris, a respected technology industry veteran in this space, has joined our executive team,” said Michael Howe, CEO for Verify Brand. “His tremendous knowledge of serialization and traceability will help pharma organizations understand how authentication and analytics can help them successfully navigate and overcome global compliance challenges, as well as offer valuable insights into trading partner networks.”

Kamal has spent 10 years focusing specifically on serialization and traceability technologies in the U.S. and abroad, concentrating on the intricacies of global pharma serialization regulations and compliance solutions. His knowledge of trading partner networks (e.g., contract manufacturers and third-party logistics providers) and supply-chain operations will help pharma organizations leverage supply-chain big data to improve business operations.

“I joined Verify Brand because their deep and diverse serialization experience combined with my knowledge of supply-chain analytics is a powerful combination. Together, this expertise is ideal for pharma companies looking to get the most out of data being generated by global compliance efforts,” said Kamal. “Pharma manufacturers can mine our platform’s rich trading partner network insights and operationalize that data to build a more intelligent supply chain. Our ultimate goal is to help companies make better, more informed decisions as a result of data and insights.”
