Macsa ID DIGILase, Powered by Xerox, is based on the unique DataLase Inline Digital Printing solution that provides customers with market leading pack and product customisation opportunities.
The DataLase laser-sensitive pigment is incorporated into an ink or coating, which can be applied to a wide variety of substrates by conventional print techniques. The laser beam then creates high-contrast digital printing of the substrate when applied at the point of packing or filling.
Inline Digital Printing with a laser is reliable, high speed and an inkless solution. It avoids the use of consumables in the packing hall and delivers excellent image quality. The DIGILase solution, developed in the US in conjunction with PARC, A Xerox Company, delivers graphics capability with grey scale imaging with no reduction in speed in widths up to 100mm.
