Peli BioThermal Launches New European Service Center

The new facility was unveiled at an open day event and enables Peli BioThermal clients to deploy re-useable thermal protection packaging systems for the pharmaceutical industry. The new service center, the first of its kind the company has opened in Europe, helps reduce supply chain costs, reducing land fill from packaging waste and reduce the overall environmental impact of the distribution activity without compromising on the quality and security of sensitive medical shipments.

To mark the milestone occasion business leaders from across the globe attended the new Service Center Open Day, which took place on Thursday, February 25th at Peli BioThermal's European headquarters in the UK.

The new center is the latest expansion development for Peli BioThermal, who specialise in the design and manufacturing of temperature-controlled packaging serving the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry and experienced record growth/sales over the past year.

This latest facility complements the existing and expanding portfolio of facilities and services available to customers globally. A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the new center.

Pelican BioThermal's President Dave Williams addressed distinguished guests and dignitaries at the launch of the new European Service Center and outlined how the latest center opening further strengthens the company's global network of service centers, which provide comprehensive packages for reusable temperature-controlled packaging requirements including:

•Sanitation using UV light technology

•Coolant conditioning
•Kitting and packaging options
•Distribution and inventory tracking
