Pelican Products Appoints Michael Tessman Director of Sales for Central U.S. Commercial/Government Division

Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in the design and manufacture of high performance protective case solutions and advanced portable lighting, has appointed Michael Tessman as Director of Sales for the Midwest Commercial/Government Division.

With more than 20 years of industry and sales management experience, Tessman will lead Pelican's commercial sales staff in the central United States and drive new business development in the company's multi-million dollar, Commercial/Government Division.

"Michael is an extremely accomplished sales executive and I am confident that under his leadership the team will serve our current customers effectively, while driving new revenue from industries we have yet to touch," said Stephan Corti, President of Pelican Products Commercial/Government Division. "I'm certain that his background, industry knowledge and collaborative leadership style will be a great resource to his team."

Tessman was promoted to Director from within the Pelican sales team, where he previously served as a regional sales manager. Prior to joining Pelican, Tessman served in key sales and operations management roles and drove millions of dollars in revenue for leading companies including W.W. Grainger, Distinctive Screening Systems, Lakeside Window Company and Sherwin Williams Company.

Tessman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
