Bilcare Research AG after having consolidated its leadership position in Europe, USA and Asia, widens its global reach with the acquisition of a manufacturing location for high barrier films for the pharmaceutical industry in Singapore. The new member of the group will operate under the name of Bilcare Research Singapore Pte. Ltd.

"We do now offer the Pharma market a truly global footprint having production sites in Europe, USA and Asia", says Andreas Pfefferle, Global Business Unit Head for Pharma Packaging Innovations. "The new facility and additional capacity combined with Bilcare's superior customer experience, gives us a more competitive edge to support and expand our customer base in Asia, particularly looking at the exponential growing Chinese market. This acquisition fits in well with our Asia expansion strategy to reach customers largely in China and elsewhere in Asia".
