Berlin Packaging, a leading full-service supplier of plastic, glass, and metal containers and closures, announced today that Andrew T. Berlin, Chairman and CEO of Berlin Packaging, has been named the 2015 inductee into the National Association of Container Distributors (NACD) Hall of Fame. The NACD Hall of Fame annually recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact on the packaging industry.
Mr. Berlin will be inducted at a gala dinner during the NACD 2015 Annual Convention on Thursday, May 7.
Under Mr. Berlin's leadership, Berlin Packaging has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of packaging products and services in North America. Since his father purchased the company in 1988, Mr. Berlin and his team have helped Berlin Packaging grow more than tenfold. The company was recently valued at more than $1.43 billion.
Mr. Berlin's tenure as CEO has included a number of important innovations, among them the introduction of the Berlin Global Packaging Group, Berlin Financial Services, E3 Consulting and the Studio One Eleven design and innovation division. The company has also made a number of strategic corporate acquisitions that have significantly expanded the company's specialty expertise and geographic base.

I know that if we succeed with my customers, my suppliers and my employees also stand to win," stated Mr. Berlin. In addition to his company responsibilities, Mr. Berlin is a partner at the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball team and owner of the South Bend Cubs Minor League Baseball team.
