The innovative multi-pack folding box was developed for the companies' long term customer Triumph International for its product "Sloggi men Match." The award was accepted by MWV's Peter Szabó and Mario Rassi, as well as by Kathrin Steinbauer, head of Raw Material Planning Austria and Christian Grill from Triumph International.

The prize, which is awarded biannually, was submitted by general secretary Mag. Harald Kaszanits of the Austrian Ministry of Science, Research and Economy and department head DI Christian Holzer of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Nature in the auditorium of the Academy of Sciences.

"On top of the long-term partnership with our customer, this award is a great proof of appreciation for our work. As one of the many joint and successful projects, this product brings a real value-added benefit to both - retailers and consumers, as thanks to its smart opening mechanism, a memorable unpacking experience is achieved," said Szabó.

Lingerie manufacturer Triumph International entrusted MWV Graz with the development and production of an innovative new multi-pack carton for their popular brand, Sloggi Men. Triumph asked for a packaging solution that could be used as a marketing tool for active brand communication and create a stronger connection with consumers.

"Our proposal was a pragmatic solution according to the motto 'What you see is what you get.' Due to the specially designed, double-sided fold-out flaps, the box is easy to open, giving quick access to the product and providing ample space for product graphics and brand messages. In addition, the carton is PEFC certified, making the packaging an even more sustainable solution, which was a major concern for our customer," said Rossi.
