Noxilizer, Inc., the company advancing a room temperature, NO2-based sterilization process for life science manufacturers, and Weiler Engineering, Inc., a leader in the global Blow/Fill/Seal equipment market, announced today an exclusive supply agreement. Noxilizer will provide the NOX FLEX™ Rapid Biodecontamination units for new Weiler Engineering, Inc. ASEP-TECH® Blow/Fill/Seal systems.

Today, Blow/Fill/Seal (B/F/S) systems use steam or sanitization to decontaminate portions of the machine. The NOX FLEX™ provides a sterilization and depyrogenation process in a patent- pending application for the shroud area of new Weiler ASEP-TECH® B/F/S machines.

These benefits will result in improved manufacturing efficiency and process control – so important in today’s competitive market.

“Weiler is a leader in the Blow/Fill/Seal industry and we are excited to be working with them,” says Lawrence Bruder, Noxilizer CEO. “This is another example of the important benefits of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in sterilization, decontamination and depyrogenation for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.”

"Providing the NOX FLEX™ Rapid Biodecontamination system to our customers demonstrates Weiler’s commitment to bringing innovation that leads to improved efficiency,” notes, Carol Nowak, CEO and President of Weiler Engineering. “We are focused on the success of our customers.”

Noxilizer and Weiler Engineering will be presenting a poster on the results from the first demonstrated decontamination and depyrogenation of an aseptic filling line at the PDA Annual Meeting (April 7 – 9, 2014) in San Antonio, TX.
