“We are so proud to mark 20 years as a U.S. manufacturer,” said Eve Yen, founder and president of Diamond Wipes.  “We have been able to weather many economic storms because of our ability to stay ahead of the curve, anticipating our customers’ evolving needs, investing in new production capacity and sustainability initiatives.”

FDA licensed and EPA registered Diamond Wipes specializes in wet wipe manufacturing and contract filling for beauty and personal care, healthcare, hospitality, household, and janitorial and sanitation markets.  The company offers both contract packaging and private label services.  Diamond Wipes also continues to supply its staple hand wipes to major restaurant chains through leading foodservice distributors.

After immigrating to California, Yen founded Diamond Wipes International in 1994.  The company began its operation in a modest 1,700 square foot facility in the city of El Monte.  With just a single machine running, Yen made individually packaged wet wipes. Going door to door, she sold these wipes to local Chinese restaurants.  Today, Diamond Wipes operates two manufacturing facilities in Chino, California and Bucyrus, Ohio, totaling nearly 200,000 square feet of manufacturing, operation, research & development, and warehousing environment.

For the past 20 years, the company has provided products and services to diverse groups of customers, from restaurant operators of the popular Hard Rock Café and Yard House to notable professional skincare brands such as Dermalogica and Murad.  It is amazing to realize how many and how widely different customers we have served over the years.  And I’m looking forward to continue our partnership with each one of them beyond this 20 year milestone,” said Yen.

In 2012, Diamond Wipes completed construction of its 3,360-panel solar power system, designed to generate over 548,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. The clean renewable energy delivers approximately 86 percent of electricity required to operate its California manufacturing headquarters.  Diamond Wipes is a certified EPA Green Power Partner, meeting EPA requirements on using a more sustainable form of energy. The company also holds FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council™) and Rainforest Alliance certifications, demonstrating its commitment to more responsible management of the world’s forestry resources. Diamond Wipes has organic processed registration to handle and process USDA NOP certified organic ingredients and products. In 2013, Diamond Wipes received WBENC and WOSB certifications as a woman owned and operated enterprise.
